Ikon offers an extensive education programme which is open to both schools and individuals from all backgrounds. This flexible programme is designed specifically to the changing exhibitions in the gallery; presenting workshops, artists' talks, seminars, gallery tours, lectures and exhibition guides exploring themes and ideas in the work of the artists on show.

Ikon also organises small-scale touring exhibitions specifically for presenting to audiences who would not otherwise have contact with artists and their work, in venues such as libraries, hospitals, schools and community centres.
