Welcome to Lake District National Park, one of Britain's
most celebrated landscapes 2,292 sq km/ 885 sq miles. Without
a doubt one of the most beautiful places in England,
has inspired writers and artists for a great period of time.
England's largest National Park and one of its best loved,
with a famous landscape of high fells, rocky crags, lush dales,
long still lakes and attractive towns and villages in the
central part of Cumbria. The National Park also includes part
of the West Coast, with beaches and tidepools.
The Lake District is best experienced on a rainy, foggy day,
when everything looks as if taken from someone's romantic
dream.
