By air, Leeds/Bradford
airport is convenient, though it is not such a major 'international'
airport as Manchester. However, Manchester is only about 1
hour away by road or rail, so that's a pretty good arrival
point.
Cheap flights are always available from JET2 to Leeds Bradford
and their service is excellent. They were winners of the most
punctual airline at Amsterdam Schiphol last year! their web

Leeds market is one of Europe's larget markets and everything
from fruit & vegatables to underwear to panettones can
be bought there. By far the best market in Britain, forget
the London markets, where you can only buy generally clothes.
This is the place to go, lots of variety, everything is a
bargain!!!!
