World Museum

World Museum Liverpool combines historic treasures from across the globe with the latest interactive technology to make an unbeatable family day out. Our internationally important collections include archaeology, ethnology and the natural and physical sciences as well as Britain’s only free Planetarium. With everything from real live bugs to Egyptian mummies, prehistoric pottery to space exploration, as well as lots of hands-on fun, there’s something for everyone inside.

The top floor café, with views across the city, offers a selection of hot and cold meals, snacks, cakes and beverages. The atrium coffee shop on the ground floor also sells light refreshments including pastries, cakes, snacks and beverages.

The first fair trade shop in a UK museum opened in World Museum Liverpool in 2005, selling a diverse range of jewellery, crafts, chocolate and gift ideas from around the world. There is also a toy shop selling a full range of souvenirs, toys and books for younger visitors.
