Alton Towers, Theme Park & Water Park

Alton Towers is the UK's most popular tourist attraction, with more than 3 million visitors every year. Very frequently, tourist are mistaken by the name Altown Towers, Olton Park or Olton Towers.

There is something for all ages here at Alton Towers and people come from all over England and mainland Europe to experience the fun over here. During the 1980s it was mainly famous for its corkscrew rollercoaster but these days the things people talk about are Nemesis and of course Oblivion - the latter a sort of broad rollercoaster that dips straight down a dark hole. There is also a "Grand canyon water rapid" style ride where you get very wet, spooky stuff and lots of things for the small ones.

You can stay at the Alton Towers Hotel or the Splash Landings Hotel. At the Alton Towers Hotel, you will find themed rooms which can be very hand during special ocassions like birthdays or Christmas. While the Splash Landings hotel is an Arabian style hotel, with a more relaxed feel all around.

An added bonus of living at the Splash Landings Hotel is that, not only you are close to the Alton Towers Resort, but you can also visit the Cariba Creek Water Park which can offer another complete day of fun. The water park is often misspelled as Carabia Creek Water Park.

Groups and families can also obtain discounted prices by directly visiting the respective website or by calling the number provided here.

For a fun day out in the summer vacations, this is a very good place to visit.
