The National Sea Life centre has turned up the heat in
the heart of the city with its excting new feature Totally
Tropical. Get face to face with a kaleidoscope of colourful
creatures including lionfish, red and blue starfish, fearsome
barracuda and cownose rays.
Britain's most popular tourist attraction is the Pleasure
Beach, with over 145 rides, attractions and shows. With
so much to do for all ages its a day out of this world.
Home of the Pepsi Max Big One, one of the tallest and
fastest rollercoaster rides in Europe, and Ice Blast-The
Ride (the UK's 1st vertical white-knuckle thrill). Pepsi
Max Big One is 235ft high and over one mile of twisting
and turning at speeds of up to 87mph. This ride lasts
for approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Its a theme park with a different touch. Here you will
find different sections of the park offering exclusively
different services. In a section you may find hair raising
rides while in the other you may find a small group of
rides for kids. A place will host a show of sea lions
whereas another has a collection of most wild animals
like the Tiger, Lion, Monkey's etc.
The Chester Zoo is a few miles outside the centre of Chester,
but you can catch a bus from the centre of town quite
easily. It is a huge place, and a visit can easily take
up a whole day. The zoo has an excellent reputation in
conservation, and it is possible to see some of the rarest
species in the world here. It also has some novel ways
of showing its creatures - don't miss the bat cave, where
you enter a twilight world with fruit bats flying around

Sanctuary, Lemurland and Nature's Nightmares, the Zoo's
newly opened Kanha Enclosure has recently been described
as one of the best new zoo enclosures in the world.
The South Lakes Wild Animal park is a conservation zoo
located in Dalton in Furness which is easily reached from
the Lake District area. There are many endangered species
kept here including sumatran and amur tigers, rhino, asiatic
lions, spectacled bears and siamangs. There is an open
area where emus, kangaroos, wallabys and lemurs roam free.

Alton Towers is the UK's most popular tourist attraction,
with more than 3 million visitors every year.There is
something for all ages here at Alton Towers and people
come from all over England to experience it. During the
1980s it was mainly famous for its corkscrew rollercoaster
but these days the things people talk about are Nemesis
and of course Oblivion - the latter a sort of broad rollercoaster
that dips straight down a dark hole. There is also a "Grand
canyon water rapid" style ride where you get very
wet, spooky stuff and lots of things for the small ones.
Drayton Manor Family Theme Park is one of the oldest parks
in the country. It was first established in 1949 and is
a nice place where families can enjoy a day of excitement
and adventure. George Bryan opened it back than as an
’Inland Pleasure Resort’, the park is still
to this day ’Family Run for Family Fun’. The
Park is near Tamworth, Staffordshire on the A4091, close
to Junctions 9 and 10 of the M42. With over 100 rides
& attractions, there is no end to the excitement you
can expect.
Marwell Zoo is set in 100 acres of landscaped Hampshire
woodland and can be enjoyed in any season of the year.
The Park has over 200 rare and endangered species of animals.
It was founded in 1972 by John Knowles. Train ride and
a childrens play area with rides. The Marwell Preservation
Trust is “dedicated to conservation and increased
knowledge of all living creatures”. Saunter round

Legoland theme park has over 50 fantastic rides and attractions
with lots to do for children. You can pack lunch and drinks,
as it can be a very expensive day out. Not much for the
adults but the kids will love it.
