Marwell Zoo

Marwell Zoo is set in 100 acres of landscaped Hampshire woodland and can be enjoyed in any season of the year. The Park has over 200 rare and endangered species of animals.

It was founded in 1972 by John Knowles. Train ride and a childrens play area with rides. The Marwell Preservation Trust is “dedicated to conservation and increased knowledge of all living creatures”.

Saunter round or take a trip on the free road train, have fun and relax. Your visit helps Marwell Zoo – a charity – to save endangered species.

Apr - Oct: 10:00 - 18:00 in
Nov - Mar: 10:00 - 16:00

Closing time in winter is subject to weather conditions.


Directions

By Rail: Eastleigh Station. For more information on on train times and prices, visit: nationalrail.co.uk

By Road: Marwell is situated just off the B2177 (between Colden Common and Bishops Waltham). Junction 11 on the M3, and Junction 10 Westbound and Junction 5 Eastbound on the M27.

Marwell Zoological Park is well signposted with brown and white tourist signs.
