> Travelling Around United Kingdom

Travelling around the UK is quite easy and hassle free. However, you will need to gather the right information before you set foot on your journey. And once you have bagged the right information, you won't miss your destinations unless you delibrately wish to.

By Road:

The United Kingdom has got all its major cities connected by a strong network of motorways which allow you to travel at high speeds covering long distances in shorter times. The motorway that goes all the way around the circumference of London is called the M25. The M25 also links
London to the country's busy Heathrow Airport. The longest motorway in the UK is the M6 which connects the south to the north.

By Train:

Like the road network, all major cities and towns in the UK are well connected by railways and are managed by a company called Network Rail. You can download the file below which shows the complete railway network for UK.

Railway Network Great Britain

You can also travel international via the railway. The Eurostar runs from St. Pancras in London and can reach Paris in just over 2 hours or Brussels in under 2 hours. The international line currently passes through Stratford where the 2012 Olympics of London will be held. The Stratford International Station is set to be the busiest station on the Euro Link in that year. For more information on the eurostar, please visit http://www.eurostar.com/
