Plantasia

Plantasia is a gigantic hot-house garden pyramid located in Swansea city centre in Parc Tawe

Plantasia features the largest tropical botanical collections in Wales, with more than 800 plant species. Tropical insects, fish, birds, reptiles and other animals are also housed within the centre. In addition, Plantasia has a butterfly house and a gift shop.

With a wide spectrum of both animals and plants, Plantasia will amaze all from the keen botanist to the hard-to-please teenager.

Opening Timings

During June, July and August Plantasia is open everyday, 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, plus Bank Holiday Mondays.


Directions

From the M4, leave at Junction 42, follow the A483 into Swansea, then as you enter Swansea follow the signs for Parc Tawe.

It is a glass pyramid in Parc Tawe opposite Sainsburys. Parking next to Plantasia or can be easily reached on foot from the city centre and Maritime Quarter. Less than a 10 minute walk from both the Bus and Train stations.
